The Secretary of State office is in charge of voting procedures for California. Plenty of impartial information is available from that site including voting rules for the state, the current statewide voter guide and first reports on the election results. Not registered for this election? You can register for the next one! Many libraries, post offices and city offices have registration forms available. You can also fill out the online form, then print and mail it in.
