CSM Library Opens for Summer Session on Monday

Welcome back students! We look forward to seeing you in the Library on Monday, when we reopen for summer session.

For the first 6 weeks of summer we are open Monday - Thursday, 9am - 7pm.

After that, for the last two weeks of summer session, our hours will be reduced, and we'll be open from 2pm - 7pm.

School's out for Summer!

It is that time of year, and CSM Library has closed for summer break. We hope that you have a great summer! 

We reopen on June 10, at 9am.

In the mean time, our online resources (ebooks, streaming films, journal articles, etc. are always available...just login as needed with your library card and PIN).

If you need to visit a library in person, or get details about your library card account, you can contact or visit one of our partner public libraries in the Peninsula Library System. They will be open during summer break.

CSM Library is Closed this Weekend in Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The College of San Mateo Library is closed Saturday-Monday in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. We reopen on Tuesday, January 22 at 7:45 am.

CSM Library is Closed for Winter Break

We are closed for winter break. We'll be back Spring Semester. CSM Library reopens January 14 at 7:45am. Happy Holidays!

CSM Library is closed due to unhealthy air quality - Chat reference available Friday - Saturday

CSM campus is closed

Due to unhealthy air quality, classes are cancelled and campuses are closed at College of San Mateo, Cañada College, and Skyline College now through Saturday. Classes and normal campus operations will resume Monday, November 19, 2018

Limited Library service will be available Friday & Saturday

The Library building remains closed through Sunday. However, online research support from a librarian is available Friday and Saturday.

As always, our online collections are available. Just login with your PLS Library card account. For information about your PLS Library card account, contact PLS Libraries that remain open.

Flex Day at CSM means the Library will be closed.

CSM will be closed for business on Thursday March 8, 2018, as faculty and staff are dedicating the day to professional development. We apologize for any convenience this may cause you.

Fortunately, due to our partnership with the Peninsula Library System, there are other Libraries in the area that are open. Your PLS library card, including CSM Library cards, allow you to check out materials from any public library in San Mateo County.

Congratulations on making it through Fall semester. Keep in mind that the Library will be closed during winter break. We will reopen January 17, 2018, when Spring semester begins. Visit our website for more information about hours at CSM Library.

Need to return something you've checked out?

Our staff will periodically check the Library "book return" box located outside of the Library building (next to the stairs). However, it won't get checked every day. 

If you are concerned about a late fine, we recommend returning your item to one of the public libraries in the Peninsula Library System (PLS). Check for the nearest location.
